Il test è stato fatto da Raymond.CC su un computer desktop con Windows XP SP3, completo di tutti gli aggiornamenti rapidi su una macchina con Pentium D 2.80GHz, 2048MB DDR RAM. Tutti gli antivirus testati sono le ultime versioni, completi degli ultimi aggiornamenti e con le impostazioni d’uso predefinite.

Questi test non sono precisi, ma danno più o meno un idea di quello che sarà l’uso della memoria una volta che installiamo un antivirus. A mio parere, lo dico sempre, il miglior Antivirus resta Kaspersky 2009, completo leggero ed efficiente. Fra i gratuiti il migliore è Antivir, AVG a volte navigando con firefox passa da pochi Mb di ram occupati a più di 100Mb! Nod32 (pagamento) non ha rilvetato un trojan che era stato installato nel pc per il test, neanche la versione 3 (l’ultima al momento) l’ha rilevato.
